our story

It all started in 2005 when Arun quit his high paying corporate job in Bangalore to realize his dream of becoming his own boss and make a professional mark in the rather unorganized Kerala tourism industry. With a passion to get travellers off the beaten track in Kerala. We wanted to share some of the special places we knew and introduce our travellers to different cultures and ways of life. We wanted to develop a style of travel that was all together different, where as travellers we became a part of country - and not just tourists looking in. We wanted to have fun, meet people, learn things, explore, and do stuff we could never do at home. We wanted to travel by anything and everything, and stay anywhere and everywhere!!
Today what started as Arun’s tours & travels has had an image and policy make over, diversified and emerged as Arun’s holidays & events.

And yet our philosophy is unchanged.

Our culture

People don't "work at" Arun’s, they are part of Team Arun’s. There is a strong sense of community, involvement and shared goals and ideals. We are all crazy about travelling and coming up with creative ideas and could not be prouder of the trips we run, events we organize!

We believe in acting with integrity towards each other and in the way we do business. We are highly entrepreneurial and value personal growth, initiative and creativity. Anyone can bring in new ideas and opinions anytime (including our guests & clients); that's how most of our new projects come about, since we don't stand for bureaucracy and hierarchy.
The work environment is casual, sociable and relaxed. There is no need to put on a 'work face' - everybody is just themselves. Having a life and fun at work is pretty important to us!
